Thinking about what you're thinking about

Today, I was really unproductive with everything I had on my to-do list.....it's finals period so I guess the feeling comes once in a while. However, I did a lot of reflection today, about life, love and living, (which is what my blog is all about)..........Life!!! what is this Life all about, what are we supposed to do, or be doing?, why am I still on this earth?, where is my life gonna take me?, have I invested well enough in my future?, what will be the consequences of my actions in Life?, can life be in plain Black and White?.............these questions were flashed in my mind today. But then I remembered this book I just picked up "The battlefield of the mind" by Joyce Myer...I haven't gotten really far, however with the few pages i've read so far, she said something about "thinking about what you're thinking about", yeah it's a complicated statement, but really what this means plainly, is just, filter your thoughts, by removing the negatives and keeping the positives.....Life becomes easier to live. And you know actually remembered those words today, and I gotta admit, it was hard to not pay attention to the negative thoughts in my mind, but when I did, I had an ease about a few things that were burdens to me..............so I guess I'm starting to figure Life a little bit, starting with my thoughts by "thinking about what I'm thinking about"............................

A welcome message to myself and anyone else........

Alright everyone, I have been seeing and hearing about blog this, blog that, blogs blogs blogs!!! So I started checking out some quite popular blogs, especially my brother who's crazy about "bella naija", I think her blog is his closest source to the happenings in Naija and the diaspora...any-hoo after checking out a lot of blogs for quite sometime....I realized this blog thingy was made for me, as i'm quite the chatterbox....well long story short, here I am, with my own blog page or don't really know what it's called sha.



So, some might still be wondering, who the heck I am?....well my name is Naomie, I'm a proper Naija girl, living in the states at the moment......I tend to be very controversial at times...any-hoo i'm not gonna sit here and type a whole boring list of what i'm like...you'll get to know the real me as time goes by....and the thing is, different people percieve you differently, so I might be nice to someone, and be a monster to another....................well I think this is enough ranting for now.....we'll see how this works...but anyway sha I'm excited I have my own blog page...or wtv it's called.....I'll keep this interesting!!! I promise...............for now, it's Oda ro ooo (in my yoruba language)!!
